I took the laptop to an Apple Authorised Service Place and they asked me to keep the notebook in for a week and also quoted an exorbitant amount for diagnosis. My problem is that whenever I plug the charger at Home or my Office (different localities), I'm seeing this error.
I've also grabbed a screenshot of 'System Information > Hardware > Power' The Orange/Green indicator light on the magsafe end also does not glow at all. See the attached screenshots for the exact message. Whenever I plug the charging cable, the battery status icon shows that it's running on 'Power Adapter' and the battery is not charging.
